The ceremony was held in Pelham house in Lewes and both Lauren and Daren got ready at the venue. Lauren and Daren are a lovely couple and it was cool to see such a wonderful, friendly family come together to celebrate their big occasion.

Simon and his family and friends were nearby at the Lion and the Lobster pub having a few pre-ceremony drinks.

Once the bride’s family were ready we all wandered down to the Brighton beach for a few pre-wedding photos.

The ceremony was held just north of Brighton at Pangdean farm near Pyecombe. The farm is centred around a magnificent 17th Century oak framed barn. The lovely walled garden outside was an ideal spot for Simon and Noemi to exchange vows amongst all their friends and family. Most of Noemi’s family had come over for the wedding from Spain.

Drinks and canapes were served in the adjoining garden overlooking the South Downs.

Unfortunately the rain that had been threatening to fall all afternoon finally did so festivities were moved indoors to the Old Barn.

We stayed on the eve of the wedding in the hotel in Tagaytay. The next morning after a scrumptious breakfast and fantastic local coffee, Mari and Raech got ready in their rooms with their bridal parties. The ceremony was at a small chapel on top of a hill about 30 minutes drive from the hotel.

The intimate celebration was interrupted for a short while due to a wardrobe malfunction, which Rachel handled calmly with humour and grace.

We headed back to the hotel for the reception that consisted of cocktails and a lovely meal. The highlight of the evening was definitely the first dance, a snippet of which you can see at the bottom of this post.

Congratulations to my brother and new sister on their fun and memorable wedding. Hope you enjoy the photos.

Gemma and her bridesmaids got prepared at her parents’ house in Arundel while Pete and his groomsmen got ready at the venue, about ten miles away in the lovely village of Bury.

The bride arrived at Dorset House in a classic 1960′s Volkswagen Transporter which was a talking point for many of the admiring guests.

The ceremony was held inside the Inner Barn, which was more like a Great Hall than a barn. About a hundred guests watched as an ecstatic Gemma and Pete exchanged their wedding vows.

The amphitheatre outside was the perfect spot for a bit of celebratory confetti throwing and guests mingled and snacked on the fantastic looking hors d’oeuvres.

Dorset House is surrounded by medieval gardens making the choice of wedding photography locations a breeze – so many lovely spots to choose from. The venue overlooks the River Arun and has spectacular views of the Sussex South Downs.
